Toncoin (TON) Foundation Launches Tolk Language with 40% Gas Efficiency Boost for Developers

The TON Foundation has unveiled Tolk, a new programming language designed to replace FunC while delivering up to 40% gas cost savings for developers. This modern syntax maintains granular performance control, tackling a key challenge in smart contract operational expenses.

Despite the technical breakthrough, TON's native token dipped 1.73% to $3.16 post-announcement. The language retains compatibility with TON's asynchronous actor model while optimizing development processes, offering a solution for ecosystem growth constraints.
